Amulette: “Shadows”

Prog rock ‘em, sock ‘em. A Rite of Spring appetizer, a Picture of Nectar entree, and Geddy Lee for dessert. It’s Amulette! The band from western Massachusetts crafts a mini-rock opera in our highlighted track “Shadows.” You could add a few extended solos into this five-minute track and turn it into an entire set. There are enough highs and low, thrills and chills, pancakes and syrup to give you your money’s worth at the club. Just as long as they’ve got a good stage banter anecdote – something about the drummer getting locked inside a highway rest stop bathroom and the band driving away, not realizing their mistake until they pulled into a parking lot in Albany, New York.
