Xmas cums but once a year. “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” was trying to get canceled a few years back, but it’s too much of a stone cold dreamer to surrender without a fight. A hard song to cover though, requiring two singers with great timing, who complement each other like gangbusters. There are some wobbly bits from Josh Hawkins and Lindsey Gavel. Hey, we’re not all Bing Crosby and Doris Day. The contributors to A Chicago Artists’ Christmas Collective win us over with their good cheer because #xmas4eva.
