David Lynch had a big announcement. That’s what he was telling everyone prior to June 5th. People hoped it was a new film on the way, or maybe the fourth season of Twin Peaks. Instead it was a music project, a new album titled Cellophane Memories, another collaboration between the lauded American director and Chrystabell. Fans of both will instantly understand the artistic chemistry between the two, if they had never heard about their collaborative history before. Slot Chrystabell right into the “feathery muse” category that Lynch has been meditating on since that lady with the big cheeks in Eraserhead. Even more so with his Julee Cruise collabs. The guy’s got some fixations. Available via Sacred Bones Records.
