Analysis

The offseason Titans news was dominated by the AJ Brown trade. The Titans traded him for draft picks. Who knows if they’ll turn into players anywhere close to the star receiver? HC Mike Vrabel must be taking a page out of former coach Belichick’s playbook, disposing of quality in-house talent because you’re cheap. Don’t believe the hype: rookie QB Malik Willis is not going to unseat veteran Ryan Tannehill. The Titans will run it back with the veteran QB and star RB Derrick Henry, albeit with diminishing returns following the departure of Brown.

Prediction: 1st in division. Even with the loss of AJ Brown, the Titans should remain the class of the division. Whether or not they can make a deep playoff push depends on how well Robert Woods fits in and Derrick Henry’s health.
