Analysis

The quarterback position saw a lot of movement in the Steelers’ offseason. Lauded veteran QB Ben Roethlisberger retired. Pittsburgh brough QB Mitchell Trubisky in to fill the void. Former top pick Trubisky was let go from Chicago for a reason, but given how awful Roethlisberger played last season, there won’t be a huge dropoff. QB Kenny Pickett was drafted for the future and may start before the season is finished. Having said that, the offense will go as far as the legs of RB Najee Harris can take it. Defense is mediocre. This is a bad team, but quality coaching will squeeze out more wins than the Steelers deserve.

Prediction: 3rd in division. The Steelers will outperform the most dismal projections, but not by much.
