Analysis
WR Allen Robinson gave up on this team last year. Who can blame him when it looks like ownership has given up as well. Briefly lauded draft pick QB Justin Fields is barely arrived and the front office have already decided to tank, shipping out mega talent and not surrounding the young quarterback with the pieces to win. It’s going to be brutal watching RB David Montgomery try to fight through the line when no opponents respect the pass. And if the Bears thought Darnell Mooney was a real WR1, they wouldn’t have added half the free agent WRs on the market. Without LB Mack, DT Hicks, and LB Trevathan this defense lacks the needed juice to prop up its deadzone on offense. Will Chicago care if the team packs up and heads to Arlington?
