Thighs: “Fatter”
A pro- or anti-McDonald’s anthem? Not sure. Gotta be one or the other. Can’t have both. The artpunk noise group Thighs lament the fake meat between the fast food chain’s buns. But damn if it doesn’t taste good for about 5 or 6 seconds before the pangs of regret kick in. Physical pangs, like your organs rejecting a substance dreamed up by psychos in a corporate lab. Mental pangs, like your brain telling you NO NO NO while you do YES YES YES. Spiritual pangs? Probably don’t need to dig that deep into junk food regret. Extra points for the baritone saxophone backing a punk band. Shades of James Chance.
