The Slaps: “Screamin Shakin”
There’s a bit of a drawl on this track. “Screamin Shakin” by The Slaps. Straight outta Chicago with an acoustic jammer. The strumming falls over its front feet like a puppy trying to sprint to the food bowl. Which is a clumsy maneuver, but sometimes that’s just what you’re looking for. Everyone loves a puppy dog, except the murderous rural satanists from the movie Race With The Devil, who kill a Shitzu named Ginger as a warning to a gaggle of tourists (including Peter Fonda) to keep their mouths shut about a ritual murder they witnessed by accident in the woods.
