The Dreamtoday: “Maeve”
Written By Michael Gutierrez

New Hampshire’s (or Woburn’s?) The Dreamtoday pile up the heavy, guitar-driven sounds on their recent album A Static World, and add a few keyboards for good measure.
A pop sensibility draws them into punk and emo territory, but there’s a weird streak that pulls them back from the straightforward verse-chorus-verse routine.
Our highlighted track “Maeve” gets time and space to breathe, evolving into a more laidback 80’s synthwave instrumental after the rock em, sock em opening assault.
