Boston’s Texas Instruments calls itself a calculator company, but it’s so much more. It’s one of the major semiconductor designers and manufacturers. The calculators that a lot of us used in school is just one piece in a much larger puzzle for the Dallas-based company. Was the music project by the same name inspired by calculators? Who can say. Just don’t sell the analog chips and embedded processors giant short. Have a listen to “Fever Dreams,” out in time for your hot and sweaty summer.
