Caxcan is back! As not Caxcan! Tender Care is the side project of Chicago-based electronic music artist Jose Alejandro Rodriguez. Our highlighted track “Cologne” comes off the first EP, titled, appropriately enough, EP1. Kinda Selected Ambient Works Vol. II in the background, jungle in the foreground, with enough repetition to drop you into the ambient trance category. Do people wear cologne anymore? Probably – I really don’t run in those circles. Or else it could be the anglicized version of the German city Köln. Good spot for a cold Pilsner…
