Marco Tewlow is nothing if not prolific. You’ve got to respect the grind. His latest single out of the Supermarket Parking Lot project is “In Creative Desperation…” The ellipsis is part of the song title. The rhythmic trope anchoring the song sports hints of rap-rock. There’s no through and through rapping to be found on this version, but Tewlow loves alternate takes of the same song, so you never know what to expect. Instead of rap, the song evolves into a kind of piano-led rock epic closer. Shades of Faith No More.
