Slo-Anne: “ded”

See this content in the original post

An indie rock n roll stomper to get your summer started. It’s Slo-Anne, straight outta Boston. Our highlighted track “ded” sports shades of “Wild Thing” by The Troggs, especially with the main chord progression. But Slo-Anne swaps in a guitar breakdown instead of The Trogg’s ocarina solo. What would Epona think? And The Troggs wouldn’t have had the guts to write a lyric about any “hands” being placed in any “laps.” Entendres, double or otherwise, never really survived into the new millennium. The planet is dying, why obfuscate? Off the album Whiplash, releasing June 27.
