Can’t ignore the prevailing synth warble driving this entire track. And why would you want to? Ruby Grove brings the crystal vibe to our highlighted track “Crystal Land.” Shades of Blondie in the rock n roll vocals. Shades of Meatloaf-meets-Queen in the operatic turns of the composition. Released as a single, but this is not music that lives alone with its houseplants and Manga collection. I’m fully convinced that this is one chapter of a rock musical in search of a stage and a spotlight. Prove me wrong.
