This band’s urgent lack of urgency shines. Our highlighted track “Wink” is a satisfying and kind of sleepy introspective pop amble. Unassuming except for what sounds like a change in key, or something, tossed in at a few pivotal moments to keep you off balance. At a tidy 2:58 in length, most pop songs can’t accommodate that kind of wobble without crashing into a fishbowl of boutique ornamentalism.
