Gollylagging: “Dry Rot”
A moody emo soft rawker that takes its time. It’s Gollylagging, straight outta Boston. Our highlighted track “Dry Rot” sports artful vocal layering on the back end. Knowing that the band can go pretty heavy, you keep waiting for the song to explode. But once the backing vocals kick in, you realize you’re not on your way to a crescendo. You’re already wherever you’re going to be in this song, which is a mellow and quasi-mournful pop ditty with an enchanting lilt. Plus some assorted noise. Off the recent EP by the same name, Dry Rot.
