The kamikaze two-piece Fred Cacklin takes you on an 8-minute math rawk journey on our highlighted track “Head Meets Concrete”. Sounds like a straightforward concept, based on the title. But the song itself is full of twists and turns. You kind of want to call this jazz/rock fusion because the percussion is accomplished, the guitar improvisational, and the vocals could be beat poetry. The energy is way too aggro, though. This is experimental music to be performed at a punk or metal show, not your local latte provider. Extra points for the lyrics “I’m a wascally little rabbit.”
