It’s a Ruth Garbus jawn. Sam Gendel and Phil Melanson too. Back in 2019 the trio recorded a self-titled album under the moniker Earth Flower. Electropop, with some surprising percussive elements, skating over the frozen brook of Garbus’ vocals. Our highlighted track “Paradise” luxuriates in neo New Age textures and messaging. Is “paradise” in Brattleboro, Los Angeles, or Toronto? Booty is in the eye of the beholder.
