Corporeal: “More Than Me”

Dreamy, loopy, and slightly disorienting. Some of the background synthesizer noodling on our highlighted track “more than me” would give Jimmy Stewart a case of Vertigo. Corporeal applies a quiet, loud, quiet dynamic to structure the pivot points of the song. The gazey textures blossom during the loud bits. The vocals maintain a cool reserve no matter what the volume of the backing layers. Shades of late 90s alt rock drift, when electronic music influence started to eat into grunge’s formula. Off the EP wanting more.
