Circus Trees: “Getting Old”

The old and young grow old at the same rate. It’s weird to think about, and it doesn’t feel that way all the time, but it’s true. Circus Trees deliver a sadcore altrock plaint “Getting Old” about family dynamics getting stale like a vinyl record forever skipping back into the same groove. Speaking of which, the Marlborough-based rawkers just released a 2xLP called This makes me sad, and I miss you. Which sounds exactly like something that your disappointed mother would text you after she learned you made a totally normal undercooked decision. No research needed, that’s definitely the origin story of the album title. Via Five By Two Records.
