Bugs and Rats: “Dead In The Sun”

A blast from the past! Our highlighted track is “Dead In The Sun,” a track off the self-titled EP from Quincy’s Bugs and Rats. Call this punk or post punk. Kind of straight to the gut energy, but not dumb about it. Almost call it artcore. Sounds like there might be some detuned string smashing. Shades of Beck’s “Pink Noise,” if you’ve heard that banger from the 90s. One of the musicians from Bugs and Rats is collaborating with Mariam Saleh (Bong Wish) on a new project called Christian Kids. Check it out.
