Big Thief: “Dandelion”

Has it already been two years since Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You? Seems like a long time since we’ve received a “major statement” from the alt something band. Even artists that make a big effort to mess with atavistic recording technology are judged by the content creation treadmill of digital media. At least judged by some people, and if those people are starving for more new music from the band than one 7-inch and our highlighted track “Dandelion,” they can migrate over to the new Adrianne Lenker solo release Bright Future. Guitarist Buck Meek’s got a new album out too. Big Thief is deconstructing itself in advance of lord only knows.
