Gypsy punk rides again. It’s Bella’s Bartok! A cool synth line leads you into this medium tempo stomper. The band from western Massachusetts can ramp up the velocity when they want to get fast and furious on the dancefloor, but on our highlighted track “Phenom,” all parties involved take their time. The result is something like a ballad with an ace vocal duet throughout. Shades of an earthier Arcade Fire with less hand wringing and more heart.
