Awnthay: “…And Next Year”

What’s it mean? Something like the title to our highlighted track “...And Next Year.” Maybe also ‘and again next year?’ The sort of thing you wish upon friends and family at special occasions. Of course, New Year’s Eve, but also Christmas, Thanksgiving, and whatever you like.

Awnthay could be the soundtrack to your next big family gathering. Maybe not upstairs with Pappou and Yaya, but at least downstairs with the kids where preteens are discovering pot for the first time thanks to their older cousin who just got back from college and is really into “Jack Kerouac.”

You’ll understand when you get older.
