At turns folk, at turns classical. The Brooklyn duo Quarterly weave a tense melody in our highlighted track “Illuminati.” No known relation to Illuminati Hotties. No vocals either on their EP flirting with the outer edge of LP-ness, Adonis. Not even on a track called “Tongue,” which, you know, would be a perfect opportunity to sing a few words.
