The title of our highlighted track “Feeling In Love (From the Waist Down)” points to the latter, but the sunny disposition of the album as a whole feels like it wouldn’t look for more than a kiss on the first date.

Shades of ABBA and Blondie in the sweet harmonies and dancehall bounce of “Bore U.” A righteous, whipsmart guitar solo in “HaHaHome” will transport you, for a few moments, to the farside of a 70s heavy rock classic.

“Feeling In Love (From the Waist Down)” sports a funky bass line that feels like it could bust into a reggae tune before the sing/speak voiceover and chorus nudge the song back into poppier regions. Extra points for gorgeous production and a dreamy, creamy seablue vinyl.
