The title track “Cherry” off Anna Fox Rochinski’s Cherry is peachy. The Brooklyn chanteuse delivers a pop sampler that’s sweet yet not too saccharine. The bass hook (or is that a deeeep guitar line?) walks your ear through the synth-heavy soundscape.

Rochinski’s vocals have a dreamy, sped-up Julee Cruise vibe. You can hear the carry-over from her other project, QUILT, but the tracks on Cherry are an animal all their own.
