Bad Influence

Philly’s Catbite put out 2021’s LP Nice One on ska/punk label Bad Time Records because they scratch that itch. And you’ll skank aplenty to their album with uptempo tracks like “Call Your Bluff,” “Excuse Me Miss,” and “TV Screen Beauty Queen.” The brass section cooks and the keys give the songs a real old school feel. As for vocals, you’ve got to belt it out to make yourself heard over the brass section, and frontwoman Brittany Luna delivers the goods.

Though the uptempo is fun, we love the slower joints like the rocksteady-inspired “Bad Influence.” Make it your jam.

Stream, share, buy to your heart’s content.
