Teens Darnell Jackson and Tracy Lavelle live a turbulent life in the streets of Chicago, until Darnell convinces Tracy to skip college and join the military. Things don't go as planned while trying to help Ukraine against the Russians, and Darnell returns to Chicago. He must face new enemies, a corrupt mayor and a city full of hate.
