Meet James Grant’s Campaign Staff

James Grant (D)

Every campaign centers on the candidate but is truly powered by the hard work of the volunteers and staff at the periphery. These unsung heroes rarely get the recognition they deserve. As part of our 2022 Primary Preview, Hump Day News will shine a light on the wind beneath the candidates’ wings.

We begin with a spotlight on the staff of James Grant, candidate for State Senate 2nd Suffolk District. [UPDATE, 8/18/22: The James Grant campaign has removed the “Team of Volunteers” from their website. The system works? -ed.]

Meet the Team

The James Grant Campaign Team advertised at the campaign website.
Jeremy Erickson, Campaign Manager

The campaign manager is Jeremy Erickson. Mr. Erickson is somewhere between the age of 18-35, enjoys dressing casually, looking off camera, bathed in a cross-process fade effect. He supports solar energy, is a self-professed extrovert, is overcoming his drug and alcohol addiction, is the CEO and Founder of WeddingDir, is the proud recipient of adult circumcision, is a positive talker, and generously donated his image to a free Photoshop “action pack” available online.

Mae Mendez, Communication Manager

Next, let’s meet Communication Manager Mae Mendez. Ms. Mendez enjoys looking straight into the camera with a smile that lights up a room. She is possibly a referee in her spare time. A lifelong learner and spiritual being, she is either a teacher or student at Budding Genius Academy and member of connected, engaged churches.

Barbara Paul, In-house Lobbyist

In a sign of the forward thinking nature of Grant’s political approach, he has incorporated a lobbyist directly onto his campaign staff. Her name is Barbara Paul. She enjoys looking straight into the camera, hoop earrings, and having two first names as her whole name. Her chief lobbying concern appears to be 20Q, a professional development and leadership software company and training program.

Erik Peters, Pollster

Finally, the Grant team knows that polling data keeps them one step ahead in the race. Pollster Erik Peters was brought aboard to see where the citizens of Massachusetts stand on the issues. In his spare time he enjoys being a student standing on a bridge, sporting a dumpy black T-shirt, being viewed 799,654 times and downloaded 3,307. Make that 3,308!

From the James Grant campaign site:

“The great 2nd Suffolk District needs a senator who is “Accountable” to the people, and have mastered the qualities, skills, and diversified career experiences necessary to bring about transformational changes.  I am that candidate but I need your support.” (James Grant)

With such a hardworking and multi-talented staff, James Grant will certainly be kept “accountable.” Stay tuned as HDN’s Primary Preview continues…
