Makeout Palace: “you don't know me (any better now)”
Boston’s Makeout Palace is one of the most fun and exciting local live shows lately. But they don’t have a ton of recorded music for fans to enjoy outside the club. About nine songs on Spotify and one on Bandcamp. Our highlighted track “you don't know me (any better now)” is the lone wolf on their Bandcamp page. It’s a rock n roll whirligig of an uptempo burner that spends enough time parsing relationships to soundtrack a teen situational drama. Plenty of lessons learned in pop punk bootcamp and the school of broken hearts.

Garage punk, sure. But the art core impulse is unmistakable here.
