Last Waltzon: “Down Under”

These dudes are from Montreal, not Australia. It’s Last Waltzon! Our highlighted track is called “Down Under,” though – is there some Aussie connection? Maybe a band member visited during study abroad, or a family vacation, and formed a deep spiritual bond with the House That Kangaroos Built. The artcore outfit works that inspiration into a quick & dirty, high tempo banger that is big on riffs and uses vocals the way Damo Suzuki used to use vocals. You know, the old Can singer would cheerlead, coax, exorcize the demons out of a song. Anything besides deliver a straight line of lyrics like you were reading a book report in high school. Good stuff.
